• Power Zone Outsole Road: SCOTT has worked with scientists for several years to develop a concept which integrates maximum comfort and efficiency via the outsole. The Power Zone and the Axial Flex are designed to minimize the strain on both the knee and ankle to improve comfort and reduce overuse injuries. The stiff carbon fiber outsole has a stiffness index of 10. Linear high modulus carbon in a specific 10 ply layup to optimize sole stiffness from cleat area to heel and minimize weight yet still allowing some torsional flex fromthe arch to the heel. Featuring a new alignment system to make cleat mounting and placement much easier and more precise.


• Boa® IP1 Fit System: The Boa® IP1 Fit System is the latest evolution of the proven closure system, which strikes the ideal balance between precision and convenience. The Boa® IP1 Fit System allows cyclists to tighten and loosen their shoes 1mm at a time making it easy to adjust pressure and achieve a perfect fit. It adapts to your individual needs by turning the dial with one hand, with one hand, even while cycling. For intuitive handling, the right and left dials are mirrored to allow same-direction turning and the entire system can be immediately released by simply pulling the dial.


• Adjustable ErgoLogic removable insole: The high-end road and mountain bike shoes all come with an anatomically designed, adjustable insole. Foot zoning allows to consider the anatomical shape of the foot and ergonomically pre-shape the insoles for a perfect fit to support the cyclist's foot. This provides a stable foundation for improved comfort and power transfer. The SCOTT modular footbed allows for adjustments to the rider’s individual needs and preferences with three different volume arch and metatarsal pads for high-, medium and low volume feet.
