The Origin for men by SCARPA is the new climbing shoe for beginners or occasional climbers. It is comfortable and robust.


The best-selling Origin for men by SCARPA has been updated with improved aesthetics, an updated fit that improves comfort at the widest point of the foot, and the PAF heel system. The Vision sole developed by SCARPA provides the necessary grip and the combination of leather and microfiber upper material offers optimal comfort. Two Velcro fasteners also allow for quick adjustment as well as uncomplicated putting on and taking off.

  • Application area: Multi-pitch, Indoor

  • PAF: PAF (Pressure-Absorbing-Fit) System is an innovative (heel) system that distributes heel tension while improving the fit at the heel. The strong tension band is interrupted behind the heel to reduce the pressure on the Achilles tendon. There it is connected to a softer rubber that acts like a "bridge" and allows full adaptation to the individual heel shape. The holes at the top of the PAF serve as indicators to see how strong the tension/support is, which is divided into 3 levels. 1 hole for light tension 2 holes for medium tension 3 holes for strong tension.
