Gore-Tex®: The Gore-Tex® membrane is an extremely thin layer of stretched polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE). It has more than 1.4 billion pores per square centimeter. These pores give the Gore-Tex® material its special properties. Gore-Tex® footwear keeps your feet dry and comfortably warm in all weathers and thus offers optimum climate comfort. Our Guaranteed To Keep You Dry™ promise applies to all Gore-Tex® shoes. These shoes offer lasting waterproofness and optimum breathability at the same time. The Gore-Tex® shoe laminate is incorporated into the shoe as an inner lining.
