The face breaks the wind and is treated with a fluorocarbon free water repellency finish that will shelter you from light snow or a quick rain shower. The whole idea is to give you enough protection for harsh weather but still give your body full freedom to breath and perform without becoming overheated. The jacket has two side pockets and drawstrings to adjust the hood and bottom hem.
