In addition to the soft leather lining, also a newly developed midsole was applied and together they create a very comfortable foot climate. The midsole has a three-dimensional structure made of compact and expanded polyurethane that cups the foot for all-round comfort. The raised edge of the sole made of stabilising PU offers greater support on all sides and at the heel. Thermoformed PU foam in the HANWAG 3D-BreathFit tongue provides added comfort with asymmetrically shaped padding that compensates for the asymmetry of our feet and adapts to individual foot shapes. With a non-slip Terragrip outsole with four-millimetre-deep tread, extra-large lugs (designed specifically for women), wider contact area and a particularly grippy rubber compound, the modern-styled, leather-lined Blueridge Lady ES by HANWAG is at home in the foothills as well as on more demanding hikes in the lower ranges.
