Beschreibung

The Zone LV by BLACK DIAMOND is a two-strap Velcro shoe that combines the comfort and breathability of the Momentum climbing shoes, with the high-performance last of the Shadows to create a shoe built for sending at the gym or the crag.


The Zone’s upper consist of the BLACK DIAMOND Engineered Knit Technology, which provides stretch where you need it, support where it matters and all around exceptional breathability-meaning you can go hard at the gym without worrying about your feet overheating. The shoe’s last is downturned and based on the aggressive shape, making the Zone adept at pulling hard on steep rock or plastic.


The Zone’s sticky Fuze rubber is molded - inspired by the way BLACK DIAMOND forges their carabiners - and not cut from one sheet of rubber. This is the engineered solution to optimize the shoe’s rubber and rands for consistency and comfort.


The shoe’s vamp area also has printed rubber for extra friction while toe-hooking, and the medium-flex midsole adds a balance of sensitivity and power. For hard training sessions, this is the Zone by BLACK DIAMOND you want to be in.

  • LV version (low volume) means a narrow last for low volume feet. (Please note: the Zone is also available with a non-LV last)

Note: The fit of the climbing shoes by BLACK DIAMOND is smaller than usual. BLACK DIAMOND recommends you to take the Zone one size larger compared to your street shoe size. For a performance fit, add .5 to your US shoe size. For a comfort fit, add 1 to your US shoe size.


In general BLACK DIAMOND would say street shoe size for good level climbers and slight up-sizing for beginners (1/2 to 1 size bigger).
