When you expand it a signal colored panel comes to light. This makes you more visible to skiers behind you. When you are done skiing you can shrink the hood back to perfect head fit.

For those who don’t appreciate snow in their pants the Myrkdalen V2 Insulated Jacket by BERGANS comes with good news. The snow skirt is equipped with little hoops that can be mounted into the beltloops on most of ski pants by BERGANS. This creates a tighter transition between the jacket and the pants. To prevent snow from accumulating and moisten the jacket from the inside, the waterproof outer fabric is drawn around the lower back edge and upwards inside of the jacket. Simple and clever!

The jacket is also equipped with dedicated pockets for ski pass and googles. An eye-catching detail on the jacket is the Velcro adjustments at the bottom of the jacket front. Not only do they look cool, they also make it easy to fit the jacket perfect with your handwear on.
