Helmet "Zupo":

• Ceramic Shell: All ALPINA helmets manufactured using the inmold process are fitted with a robust ceramic shell. A polycarbonate plate is stretched under intense heat onto the shape of the helmet in the making and pressed onto the Hi-EPS body under high pressure and thermally bonded to it. The Ceramic shell is characterized by several qualities: It is impact- and scratch-resistant, UV-stable and antistatic


• Ergomatic: A strap buckle with a red push button and multi-step automatic locking mechanism. Ergomatic can be operated with one hand - you can loosen the strap on the way up the mountain and tighten it for downhill - and in a fall the locking mechanism cannot open automatically


• Hard Shell: Hardshell helmets consist of a Hi-EPS core and an impact-resistant outer shell made of ABS or polycarbonate. This combination ensures maximum safety


• Hi-EPS: The inner shell of all ALPINA helmets is made of Hi-EPS (High Expanded Polystyrene). The material has microscopically small air chambers that absorb the forces acting on the helmet in the event of an impact. Hi-EPS provides optimum protection and at the same time allows for extra-thin helmet wall as well as narrow helmet shapes


• Run System Ergo Snow: The Run System enables all ALPINA helmets to adjust to a custom size by using an easy-to-move dial. ALPINA relies on the tried-and-#C03 Run System Classic for its ski helmets, a flexible head adjustment system with a central dial. A twist mechanism allows the headband to be adjusted more loosely or more tightly. The large dial is equipped with a non-slip two-component mix and can be operated perfectly with ski gloves


• Venting System: Air vents ensure optimum air conditioning, air circulation and effectively prevent heat accumulation inside the helmet


• Y-Clip: A helmet can only provide the best possible protection if it remains in the optimum position in the event of an impact. The adjustment and fixing of the two straps under the ear plays a decisive role. The Y-clip system ensures a millimetre-accurate adjustment - in a matter of seconds

• 100% UV-A, -B, -C protection: All ALPINA lenses provide 100% UV-A-, -B-, -C-protection and thus guarantee excellent eye protection


• 180°+ field of vision: Ski goggles with 180°+ view have a special frame, which is also combined with an extra-large panoramic lens. This means you can see more than the 180-degree field of view prescribed by the CE standard. You retain a better overall view - and can perceive hazards in your peripheral field of vision earlier


• Airframe Venting System: Airframe venting is an intelligent ventilation system for ski goggles. Air vents at the sides and bottom with special foam covers allow a continuous movement of air within the body of the goggles. This circulation of air disperses moisture preventing the lens from misting up


• Comfort Frame: The Comfort Frame is designed in such a way that it adapts perfectly to the shape of the face thanks to the flexible plastic webbing in the forehead and cheek area. The result: an ergonomic fit that ensures the best possible comfort and prevents pressure marks. At the same time, the ski goggles are perfectly finished


• Over The Glasses (OTG): Over the Glasses are designated as the glasses you can wear over normal vision aids. They are designed to allow enough room inside and space on the sides for a glasses frame


• Double Lens Thermoblock: With Doublelens Thermoblock, an air chamber is created between the two lenses to prevent a cold bridge. As a result, the view is fog-free and always optimal


• Doubleflex: Doubleflex is a double lens with a number of advantages due to its design. It provides 100% protection against UV-A, UV-B and UV-C rays, creates a thermal block that prevents the lens from freezing, is break-proof and, with a Fogstop coating, ensures a clear view. At all times


• Hicon: Hicon is the name for a certain orange tint of the lens. This colouring has the property of significantly increasing contrasts. This makes the view clearer and better, which increases safety on the way down. The effect is particularly helpful in diffuse lighting conditions such as fog or snowfall


• Fogstop: All ALPINA ski goggles have a Fogstop coating. This is not smooth but rough - on a microscopic level. This prevents moisture from forming a closed layer. So the lens doesn’t fog up and the view remains clear


• Cylindrical Lens: Cylindrical lenses allow a flat, straight-line goggle construction. Compared to a spherical lens, the distance to the eyes is smaller. Thermoblock and Fogstop effectively prevent icing or fogging of the glasses and ensure a clear view


• The Doubleflex technology creates a thermoblock that prevents the lens from freezing


• Fogstop coating on the inside of the lens prevents fogging
